Re: Teens think they’re unbreakable (story, Aug. 15).
I read the front-page article featuring the program “ThinkFirst Injury Prevention Strategy for Youth (TIPSY),” which is offered in Toronto. It struck me as unfortunate that The Citizen would feature this article when we have a strong local program that warrants such attention. For more than eight years the Prevention of Alcohol and Risk Related Trauma in Youth (PARTY) program has been offered in our community. This program is presented to all Grade 10 students in the Prince George school district and a few outlying school districts as well as Cedars and others.
