Every year, approximately 1, 210 people are killed, and 71, 413 seriously injured as a direct result of drunk driving and other risky driving behaviour. These victims need not be intoxicated to experience the tragic repercussions of drunk driving, and often have no idea they are in danger. The goal of the P.A.R.T.Y. program is to Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth, which we strive to accomplish primarily by hosting information-rich, interactive sessions with youth in the Prince George, B.C. area. P.A.R.T.Y is able to impress its message on youth efficiently and effectively by working with local school districts to capture a large student audience.

The greatest incidence of death and injury occurs in the 15 - 24 age group. P.A.R.T.Y. was created to educate teens to the perils of risk-taking behaviour and the tragic consequences that can occur. This program is a vital component in the growing community effort to reduce death and injury in alcohol and risk-related incidents.

P.A.R.T.Y's mission is to promote injury prevention through reality education, enabling youth to recognise risk and make informed choices about activities and behaviours. This program is making a difference with our youth and saving lives!
